[edit] Mayoral candidate?

Malik ran for mayor in 2006? He ran for council-at-large in 2002, but I didn't see his name on the ballot in 2006. -- Muffuletta 05:53, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

The Washington Post story in References says he plans to run for mayor. A SF Bay View story quotes him as saying "I'm running for mayor." Maybe he dropped out prior to the ballot? Or maybe his campaign was write-in only? Kalkin 06:18, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
