Talk:Malice Vundabar

Was not the game the Furies played seing who could defeat a superhero and taking his or her mask; and was not the 'superhero' Malice defeated, taking his mask as a trophy in the final panels, Hank and Dawn's non-superpowered African-American friend, who dressed as the superhero 'Black Russian' for orphans?
If I remember the issue correctly, the theme was about heroism, and how one didn't need superpowers in order to be a hero. That was 'Black Russian'. But a twin theme was also about how there are games one shouldn't play. The Furies played one type of game; 'Black Russian', who pretended to be a superhuman when he could have just been a human hero -- even for a good cause -- was another type of game that perhaps shouldn't have been played.
Does anyone else remember this issue? It's been a very long time since I read it. It was the first Hawk and Dove I'd read, and my first introduction to Granny Goodness and the Furies ('.. each lash is a kiss'), and I enjoyed it for how twisted it was. But any other info on that sick little game the Furies played, and Malice won, would be appreciated.
