"Reed is also an Eagle Scout." - How is this possible? The UK doesn't have Eagle Scouts, as far as I'm aware. Magic Pickle 19:48, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

- It is possible that the Eagle Scouts were established around the era when he grew up. I believe it is Cannon since Reed informs Archer of this. Also another plossible idea is that his family travelled around since his family was brought up in a Royal Navy setting. Maybe in Canada or the United States? Aleeproject 20:35, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

Eagle Scout is a rank given by the Boy Scouts of America. Why would his royal navy father settle in the USA? It's possible there is some sort of explanation, but more likely that the writers didn't bother to check that Eagle Scouts are an American system of scouting. In the UK the equivalent would be a Venture Scout. Magic Pickle 15:43, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

The current equivalent title in the UK is Queen's Scout, so my theory is that the British monarchy no longer exists in 2151. The prestigious title (Eagle or Queen's scout) is given to scouts who have outstanding achievement. Venture scout is a differnt thing. March 9, 2007
