To-do list for Malcolm Glazer:
  • Add something about his legal battles over his inheritance
  • Include stuff on his childhood and his father's death - seems to have had a huge impact on him.
  • More stuff on Tampa Bay Bucs

He doesn't have 6 sons...he has 5 and has one daughter.

i think we should have more on his takeover and management of manchester united. a huge deal was made of the takeover in the UK. most if not all man united fans were against the takeover. Pratj 16:12, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

  • "Glazer's initial attempts in 2004 to buy out the team were opposed by many fans due to the perceived insecurity of the bid (as Glazer required a high amount of loans to finance the purchase), and led to pitch invasions" When were there pitch invasions?
    • I believe there was one pitch invasion during a reserve game [1] TigerShark 18:59, 13 May 2005 (UTC)
      • That's the only pitch invasion I know of in relation to Glazer, so I've edited it. God, even looking at this bastard's photo is making me feel sick :-( Cantthinkofagoodname 09:19, 16 May 2005 (UTC)
        • Shouldn't this talk page have a NPOV? Ablaze
          • Don't know what the guidelines are for POVs on talk pages. If it's really that big a problem for you, I don't mind if you delete it. Cantthinkofagoodname 23:24, 26 May 2005 (UTC)
            • Its not a problem for me, but if someone else saw it they may get offended. I'm also not sure about POV of talk pages 11:27, 27 May 2005 (UTC)
              • POV rules apply to the articles, not their associated talk page. Although personal attacks are not welcomed. Proto t c 28 June 2005 11:35 (UTC)

[edit] Sir

It says sir? I was under the impression that non-brits when knighted did not gain the prefix to their name. Philc T+C 15:57, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

I think that might just have been a wind up. Nice pic on your user page btw :) CTOAGN (talk) 18:32, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
haha, yeh. Hope you dont mind I nabbed it from yours. hehe. So I take it old malcolm hasnt been knighted.... should hope not too Philc T+C 19:45, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

If a non-British or Comomowealth citizen gains a British knighthood (or to be techincal an honourary knighthood) they are not entitled to use the prefix Sir but I was unaware that Malcom glazer had been given any hounor by the British government so I have deleted Sir from the article. Penrithguy 22:07, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

Yeh we already did that but kindly User:FatBaka took the courtesy of putting them back..... Philc T+C 23:34, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Semitism

He's Jewish, and his son's names were changed from Jewish-sounding names

The bottom of the page links this article in a series of American Jews and Jewish businessmen, but ErivV89 deems reference to Mr Glazer's faith 'negative'. Please explain.

I've removed him from the Jewish American Sportspeople category. I accept that he is American, and I suspect that he is probably Jewish, but I cannot take seriously the suggestion that he is a sportsman. Baggie 10:56, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
