Why isn't the term "Melanesian" mentioned in this article? Badagnani 19:16, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- I guess it's because Melanesian is a vague term that may lead to ambiguity, and the fact that all the Solomon Islands are Melanesian, so it's not a distinguishing characteristic. However, as Malaita is clearly part of Melanesia, it could certainly be added if you see a reasonable place for it. Rigadoun (talk) 21:22, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
