Malyssa is a dance pop singer originally from in Modesto, California.

Her single Reminisce was a San Francisco Bay Area hit on CHR station [[Wild 94.9 FM] in March 2002, reaching #2 most requested for three consecutive weeks and the song gained popularity through Northern California, Texas, and Washington state. Her single Here With You became a national dance hit and put her on the map of American dance music. Her full-length album Reminisce was released by Rhythm Drive Records in October 2002. The album and other special releases can be legally downloaded from the iTunes Music Store.

Her songs have appeared on numerous dance compilations and DVDs around the world including Freestyle Heaven Volume 5, Bad Boy Joe Volume 3, Slowjam Sessions Volume 1.

Her real name is Kristy and is of Thai, Laotian, Chinese, Native American and French Canadian descent. Her stage name MALYSSA is actually her given Thai name. In Thai, it's correctly pronounced "MAH-LEE-SA" - one of the most beautiful flowers found in Thailand.

She currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
