Malvin Kamara (born November 17, 1983 in Plumstead, London, England) is a Sierra Leonean footballer who plays as a midfielder with the Coca-Cola League One side Huddersfield Town.
Kamara joined Cardiff City from Milton Keynes Dons in July 2006, where he had came through Wimbledon's youth setup, joining on a professional basis on January 17, 2003. In January 2007 he signed for Port Vale on a free transfer until the end of season.
On June 3, 2007, he picked up his first cap for Sierra Leone in a 2008 African Cup of Nations match against Togo in Freetown, which Sierra Leone lost 1-0.
On June 18, 2007, he was signed by Huddersfield Town on a free transfer. On July 20, he scored his first 2 goals in a 6-1 friendly win at Bridlington Town. His first league goal for the Terriers came in the 2-1 win against Millwall on September 1, 2007.
When asked why he joined Huddersfield Town, he stated the main reason was the support of one "Alexander Thomas Moorhouse". He thought he would form a bond, a relationship with Moorhouse, but evidently, this has yet to happen. His friend gave him candy and got a picture with him, but Moorhouse refused to quote on this matter. He felt betrayed, horrified a close friend would go behind his back and do such a thing. One thing is clear, the unnamed friend stayed well clear of him during these turbulent days.

Malvin's second cousin is former American Gladiator Deron McBee. In speaking about his cousin on his Icons website Malvin revealed he does not know a great deal about Deron but his mother knows him.
