Malvatu Mauri

The Malvatu Mauri or National Council of Chiefs are a body of government advisors in Vanuatu.[1] They are elected by district councils of chiefs, plays a large role in advising the government on all matters concerning Vanuatu culture and language. However they have no formal constitutional status in the country. [2]
