Malpas Rural District

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Malpas was a rural district in Cheshire, England from 1894 to 1936.

It was formed under the Local Government Act 1894 from the part of the Whitchurch rural sanitary district that was in Cheshire (the rest was in Shropshire and became the Whitchurch Rural District).

It was abolished in 1936 under a County Review Order, being split with the greater part going to Tarvin Rural District and the rest going to Nantwich Rural District.
