Mallota or Malota (Greek: Μαλλωτά) is a Greek village located around 7 km east of Megalopoli, 14 km northeast from the nearest interchange with the GR-7/E65 (Kalamata - Megalopoli - Tripoli), 3 km south of the old road (GR-7) and about 30 km west-southwest of Tripoli. Mallota had a population of 73 in 2001 for the village. Mallota is also in the municipality of Megalopoli. Mallota is connected with the GR-7 (old E65) and Rapsommati as well as the Megalopoli-Anavryto Road

Mallota situated in a mountain slopes. The mountains cover the area and are made up of rocks with grasslands and bushes along with a couple of forests and ungevetated spots at higher elevations. The Alfeios Valley lies to the west and it contains farmlands Farmlands are also within the village. Its panorama includes the Lykaio mountains to the west, the north and the south, its nearby mountains can be seen.

The village used to have a large population before the beginning of the 20th century. After World War II and the Greek Civil War, the population began to decline as residents moved to larger towns and cities and outside of Greece including North America. The population between 1991 and 2001 declined slowly

Mallota has a church, and a square (plateia), its nearest school and lyceum (middle school) and gymnasium (secondary school) are in Megalopoli.
