Mallory E. Horne, born April 17, 1925, in Tavares, Florida, he was the Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives, and President of the Florida Senate.[1]
Mallory was married at 19 to Anne Livingston (with whom he later had two sons, Mallory E Jr. and David), Horne was an Air Force pilot during World Word Two. It should also be noted that Mallory Horne attended the University of Florida, and served as the President of the Student Government in 1949.[2] Horne opened his own law firm in Tallahassee, Florida and was elected State-wide president of the Junior Bar of Florida for lawyers under the age of 36. It was during this time that he also served as a State representative in the Florida House of Representatives.
