Malin is a city in Klamath County, Oregon, United States. The population was 638 at the 2000 census.

The "Malin Substation", an electrical substation owned by PG&E, PacifiCorp, and BPA, forms the northern end of Path 15, a major north-south power transmission corridor.

Malin is located at 42°0′46″N, 121°24′27″W (42.012814, -121.407482)[3].

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.9 km² (0.3 sq mi, about 200 acres), all land.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 638 people, 200 households, and 155 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,810.4 people per square mile (703.8/km²). There were 217 housing units at an average density of 615.8/sq mi (239.4/km²).
