[edit] Brief history
Aaron Hall created Malfador Machinations to publish Space Empires II, the sequel to his self-produced 4X game. The game received a warm reception for its uniqueness, and the company's main focus since has been the Space Empires series. They have also released a hack-n-slash RPG entitled Dungeon Odyssey but this was not as successful as the Space Empires games. The company has since only worked on the Space Empires series.
[edit] Acquisition by Strategy First
On April 5th 2006, Strategy First acquired all of the intellectual property assets of Malfador Machinations.
