Malese Jow (born February 18, 1991) is an American actress, singer and song writer. She is of Chinese, Cherokee Indian and European descent. Jow was born Elizabeth Melise Jow[1] in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is perhaps best known for playing Geena Fabiano on the Nickelodeon show Unfabulous, alongside Emma Roberts.

Jow became a teen idol at the age of thirteen, starring as the Geena Fabiano in the Nickelodeon series Unfabulous, which debuted in September 2004. The teen sitcom earned Jow several Young Artist Award nominations. The series became one of the network's most-watched programs and was quickly recommissioned for a second season.

Malese Jow's latest role is that of "Paige Pucker" in a new comedy series co-starring Tadhg Kelly. The series is tentatively titled "S.P.: Untitled". Set to release in March 2008 the series will use a groundbreaking 'pre pilot' launched on the internet to allow fans to direct the subsequent filming and final endings. The untiled sitcom is a coming of age story about a brother and sister who set out to make it in the LA entertainment scene. The show promises good chemistry between these two actors who have worked together on Nickelodeons television series, Unfabulous. [2]

In 2007, she played her first starring role as well as her first theatrical role, in the theatrical motion picture Bratz as Quinn, the film's primary antagonist.

She is now launching a music career and has several songs on her MySpace profile. She dated singer and actor Edwin Davis for 1 year and she had an acting role in the film Bratz: The Movie as Quinn. She has so far posted six songs on her Myspace profile: "Girls Night Out", "Left Waiting", "Sound Of Summer", "Live 4 Today", "Turn Away", and "He Said, She Said". Malese also has a Youtube account where she has posted video diary entries. [3] Kevin Jonas has written several songs for her including "Left Waiting" and "No Better".[4] She also co-wrote several of her songs including "No Better".[5]
