Malcolm Stent

Malcolm Stent (born 14 June 1945 in Saltley, Birmingham) is a British actor, musical performer and playwright who lives in Solihull. He was in a band called the Timoneers, before he became a regular at The Boggery with Jasper Carrott. He has continued to perform around the Midlands ever since.

He is an all round performer and is well-known for his charity work. He opened the Bullring which acknowledged his local importance to the community. He also wrote the children's book "Go and Play up Your Own End!", which he, along with Jasper Carrott, made into a stage play. He also wrote it's stage-play sequel, "Go and Play Further up Your Own End!". He regularly writes and appears in Solihull Library Theatre's annual pantomime.
