Malcom Murray born Invercargill is an New Zealand actor, best known for his role as Dr. Al Dubrovsky in Shortland Street between 1999-2001. He was originally casted as the character of Doctor David Kearney in 1996 but was replaced by Peter Elliot. Malcom who left Shortland Street in the end of 2001 after his love and him fled to Australia. Malcom who then went into theatre and was casted in Shakespears King Lear playing the Earl of Kent from 2002 until september going right through the nation and a few off shows in Australia.

When Malcom was 18 he went to Otago University and studied Drama for three years. He studied with his sister at Otago University Fiona Ward who went into teaching.
