Malcolm Menin

Malcolm Menin was Bishop of Knaresborough from 1986 to 1997 .
Born on 26 September 1932 [1] he was educated at The Dragon School [2] and University College, Oxford [3] before taking Holy Orders at Cuddeston College, Oxford. After Curacies in Portsmouth and Fareham[4] he was appointed Vicar of St James, Norwich in 1962, an area which he was to be associated with for much of the rest of his life[5]. Promotion to be Rural Dean of Norwich in 1981[6] followed[7]which lead in turn lead to elevation to theSuffragan Bishopric of Knaresborough [8]. 11 years later, on retirement, he returned to Norwich where he remains active in church life[9].
