Malcolm Gillis (runner)

Malcolm Gillis (born May 24, 1933 in Knoxville, Tennessee) is a prolific long distance runner from the United States. He holds several records, mostly at the state and national level, in various long distance races.

In 2006, he was inducted into the Huntsville-Madison County Athletic Hall of Fame.

Gillis is a retired Air Force pilot and NASA contractor, who now resides in Toney, Alabama. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Mississippi State University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
