Malcolm Beasley

Malcolm Beasley is a professor of Applied Physics at Stanford University. He is known for his research related to superconductivity. He has served on the Jan Hendrik Schön commission, where he helped determine that Schön fabricated his data.

Beasley attended Cornell University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in engineering physics in 1962 and his PhD in 1968. He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences.

At Stanford, Beasley has served as the dean of the School of Humanities and Sciences and collaborates with Theodore Geballe and Aharon Kapitulnik.
