Mala Kapela Tunnel

The Mala Kapela Tunnel (Croatian: Tunel Mala Kapela) is a motorway tunnel in Lika, Croatia. Its length is 5.76 km, and it passes through the Mala Kapela mountain in the direction northeast-southwest. The tunnel forms part of the A1 motorway from Zagreb to Šestanovac, and it is geographically located between the villages Jezerane and Modruš.
Its western shaft (two lanes) was opened in 2005; the eastern shaft (another two lanes) are still unfinished.
