Malè is a comune (municipality) in the province of Trento in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 35 km northwest of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,142 and an area of 26.2 km².[1]

The municipality of Malè contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Magras, Arnago, Bolentina, Montes, Pondasio and Molini.

Malè borders the following municipalities: Rabbi, Bresimo, Caldes, Cles, Terzolas, Croviana, Commezzadura, Monclassico and Dimaro.

The economy of Malè is based mainly on tourism and in the second place on farming (typical productions of apples, chees and cold cuts).

Near Malè you can found the Parco dello Stelvio, the biggest naturalistic national park in Italy (see it:Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio).
