Orange is balanced, while white/light yellow shows more females in the neighborhood. Dark red indicates a large proportion of males. Note that Latino neighborhoods have a large proportion of males because of the labor demand, while black neighborhoods have fewer males and more females. Whites in the mountaineous region are about balanced.
