I am currently a graduate student at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and a graduate of Reed College in Portland. I'm a big fan of Babel but do most of my editing on the English-language Wikipedia. I am a classicist and ancient languages nut, I program computers, I speak a bunch of languages, and I spend an unreasonable amount of time on Wikipedia. (I used to be significantly more a Wikipediholic, but I am in recovery these days.)

I do not mourn the death of BlitzMail.

I hate vandalism, especially of the Stephen Colbert-inspired variety.
