[edit] Mako (band)
I removed the link to the Boston band called Mako. I'm from boston and have asked around and nobody I've asked has heard of the band and searching on google does not turn up links so I'm skeptical about the "influence" of the the band. The link in the article was to the band's Myspace page. If the band is notable, someone should create a stub article for the group with enough evidence to demonstrate notability and then link to that page and not to the Myspace page. —mako (talk•contribs) 20:24, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Mako (archery release)
My uncle gave me one of these, although I am unable to google anything on it.
On another note, target 4 turns up many google searches for archery releases, both look alike.
If I am holding it in my hand I say that's a source. Casemods 03:02, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, "you holding it in your hand" is not an acceptable source for Wikipedia. Please see Reliable sources, Verifiability, and No original research. Also, I'm not sure it would merit an article on its own in any event; see Notability and Notability of corporate products. If you disagree, please be sure to address how the item meets the criteria given in those policies and guidelines. Thank you. —DragonHawk (talk|hist) 02:40, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
