How did it happen that someone got only two prizes? Does anyone know the values of the prizes from that game?
- The number string that day was 305030519. The correct prices were $30, $519, and $3,050 (3050-30-519). The contestant guessed $30, $519, and $5,030 (30-5030-519). 71.31.67.115 19:47, 5 February 2006 (UTC) (Steve Gavazzi)
[edit] And if he loses?
Messy Thinking Based on what I've watched about this game, the lights on the sequence display will go off in the event of a wrong answer. I'd like this included in the explanation of the game.
- There's nothing to include. The contestant's guesses haven't been lit up since the mid-'90s. I even went back and checked Thursday's rerun just to be certain. -TPIRFanSteve 04:16, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
Messy Thinking:Oh. It's because I personally recall something like this happening early on.
- Yeah, it did. The guesses used to light up as Bob read them off, and they'd shut off when the buzzer sounded if they were wrong. Like I said, though, it hasn't been done for ten years or so. -TPIRFanSteve 02:39, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
