Making April is an American rock band from Verplanck, NY. Sean Scanlon and Steve McCaffrey formed the group in their dorm room at SUNY Albany and began writing together in early 2005.[1] After collaborating with longtime friend Greg Federspiel (bass) the band recorded 5 demo songs, that would later become the backbone of their 8 song debut EP "Runaway World." When the initial pressing of the EP sold out it was re-released with two bonus tracks. The band has gained acclaim as a featured artist on MTV's Laguna Beach and as one of the Top 10 Unsigned Artists on MySpace.com[2]. They have now sold over 100,000 tracks on iTunes worldwide.[3]
