Makhai

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In Greek mythology, The Makhai(Greek:Μάχαι) were the Daemons (Spirits) of battle and combat, sons or daughters of Eris. The Daemons Homados (Battle-Noise), Alala (War-Cry), Proioxis (Onrush), Palioxis (Backrush) and Kydoimos (Confusion) were probably numbered among the Makhai. They were accompanied by such vicious spirits as Ares, the Hysminai, the Keres, Polemos, Enyo, and Eris.
