Make Way for the Motherlode is the debut album by female rapper, Yo-Yo. The album was released in 1991 for East West Records and featured production by Ice Cube, Sir Jinx and Del Tha Funkee Homosapien. The album had two hit singles, "You Can't Play with My Yo-Yo" and "What Can I Do?", both of which featured Ice Cube. The album was more of a critical success than commercial, but is usually considered to be one of the best female rap albums.
