I would say this image is the best to be found as "fair use" with the exception of possibly a album cover. The image is from a press pack issued by the record company and is therefore intended for mass distribution. Sachabrunel 14:26, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
- The issue is more whether or not any fair use image would be acceptable. I would say so. The band is no longer together, and although it is still possible to take a picture of each individual member, the whole is more than the sum of its parts. A composite wouldn't be representative of the band itself, and it would be misleading in the sense that while they were together, they wore matching uniforms. ShadowHalo 22:16, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

- To further complicate the matter, a deletion review of a different version of the same photo can be found [[1]], which actually addresses the deletion of this image as well, by the admin who originally nominated this photo for deletion. Additionally, there is a discussion here concerning the issues that ShadowHalo brought up above concerning images of defunct bands and Fair Use photos of them. Though neither of these discussions are resolved yet, I think it is clear (especially from the Fair Use discussion) that there is no consensus yet concerning whether or not a photo like this is acceptable under Fair Use or not. Given that there is no clear consensus, and some debate and meaningful points on both sides, I would suggest this image should be (at least momentarily) unnominated for deletion until a consensus of some kind is reached. - For what it's worth, I would say that no free equivalent could be created to replace this photo, as the band no longer exists. —Remember the dot (talk) 02:42, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
