Thomas was born in London on September 13, 1914.

He joining the British Army in World War II. Decorated with the DSO (Distinguished Service Order)

Thomas is probable best known as an author and as the founder of both Torchbearers International and Capernwray Missionary Fellowship of Torchbearers

Thomas died on August 1, 2007, at the ripe old age of 92.
