Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam

Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam or Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) is a local authority which administrates Shah Alam city, the north of Petaling district and east of Klang district. This agency is under Selangor state government. MBSA are responsible for public health and sanitation, waste removal and management, town planning, environmental protection and building control, social and economic development and general maintenance functions of urban infrastructure. The MBSA main headquarters is located at Persiaran Perbandaran, Shah Alam.

Formerly known as Majlis Perbandaran Shah Alam (MPSA). Shah Alam was granted a city status on 10 October 2000.
