Majid Farahani

Majid Farahani (in Persian: مجید فراهانی)‎ (born 1973) is an Iranian progressive/reformist politician, and a member of Islamic Iran Participation Front (IIPF) that is active for democracy and human rights in Iran. As of the early 2000s, till 2004 Farahani was the manager of the central Youth Branch of the IIPF.

Previously Farahani was the main member of central council of Office for Strengthening Unity (Daftar-e Tahkim-e Vahdat) for four years (1996-2000) when he was a student of Industrial Engineering in Sharif University of Technology. The organization was the biggest group of student movement for democracy and human rights in Iran.

Farahani has a MSc in Executive Management from Iran University of Science and Technology and a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
