Majestics

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Majestics are a group of fictional characters from the popular Beyblade anime and manga series. The team consists of Robert Jurgen, Johnny McGregor, Oliver Polanski, and Enrique Giancarlo and there somewhat servant (coach)Piddlesworth.

The Majestics first appear to be a group of self obsessed bored rich kids who believe that team work whilst Beyblading is completely unnecessary and only for the weak. They battle the Bladebreakers for a slot in the Beyblading World Championships, but lose because they know nothing about working together. They are all strong individual Beybladers.

The Majestics do not appear in the second season, but, aside from the special ending of the third season's final episode (Japanese version only)which reunites all major characters from all three seasons, Robert and Johnny make a cameo appearance in episode 16 of the third season to warn BBA Revolution about the cheating tactics of the Barthez Battalion. In the said ending, long after the Battalion's reluctant cheating has ended with their firing of Barthez as coach, Robert and Oliver are seen in a two-on-two match against Aaron and Mathilda, while Enrique and Johnny are with Miguel and Claude preparing to face against the Dark Bladers.

Profile
Age 16
Bit-beast Griffolyon

Robert is the leader of the Majestics. Robert is one of the most skilled beybladers in the World, and the best in Germany. When Tyson first battled Robert, Robert crushed Tyson within one minute. Robert's bit-beast is Griffolyon. In the manga, Robert's Griffolyon beyblade is a "Hidden Spirits" model that transforms into his beyblade like the Takara/Hasbro version.

His special attack is Wing Dagger. Robert's bitbeast is rumored to be set in armor, which makes it very hard for another beyblader to defeat. His bitbeast is also very large in size. Robert first meets and defeats Tyson on a cruise ship, after defeating a mass amount of amateur Beybladers first.

He despises anything 'uncouth', and is very uppity. Robert is the descendant of a long rein of knights and is proud of his heritage. His family own a huge castle in the middle of Germany, surrounded by acres of forests. He believes that team work is unnecessary and only for the weak. He realizes that you have to work as a team to be strong when the Majestics are defeated by the Bladebreakers because Robert doesn't know how to work with others. Until he is defeated by Tyson, Robert believes that once you defeat an enemy in a Beyblade match, they are trash and no longer exist, and henceforth a rematch is impossible. His Beyblade launcher is in the shape of a flail.

[edit] Enrique Giancarlo (Giancarlo Tornatore)

Age: Season 1- 14

Bit-beast Amphilyon

The playful Enrique is one of the strongest members of this team. Enrique appears to be a bored rich Italian kid, who prefers to spend his time with his many girlfriends. Enrique is the member who loves to kid around, and look for ladies to hang out with. Enrique is the champion of Rome. His bit-beast is one of the largest, Amphilyon, and is also incredibly powerful, but weak at high altitudes. Although Enrique is a skilled Beyblader, he prefers to spend time around girls and take them shopping, as well as playing numerous pranks on people.

He comes from a long line of gladiators, and is seen Beyblading is his family armour. His bitbeast is a huge two headed lizard-like dragon, and although it is very powerful, Enrique lacks control over it. Enrique is seen as being very unfair towards his bitbeast, often mistreating it, and when Amphilyon turns on Enrique and attempts to attack him, he is saved by Tyson and his Dragoon. His Beyblade launcher is in the shape of a sword and shield.

He is often seen with Oliver, and it is believed the two are best friends, despite their differences.

[edit] Johnny McGregor

Age: Season 1- 15

Johnny McGregor
Bayblade character
First appearance 37
Japanese name Johnny
Profile
Age 15
Bit-beast Salamalyon

The all sarcastic Johnny is the second strongest of the Majestics. He is a true Scots man. When it comes to joking around, he'll probably shoot you down with a sarcastic comment. He takes no prisoners in battle both in and out the beystadium. Although he acts like a big tough guy, he has a golden heart, as proven in "A Lesson For Tyson"...he also has a very short temper. His bit-beast is Salamalyon. He is from Scotland and plays Tennis and Golf as a side sport to beyblading. He CANNOT play chess...losing 7 times in a row to Robert.

Johnny is also a descendant of knights, and like the rest of the Majestics, is very proud. He is supposedly known as "The Gladiator of Glasgow" due to his phenomenal Beyblading skills. He loses to Kai during the Majestics vs. The Bladebreakers battle because Kai is given advice (much to his displeasure) by his team mates, while Johnny lacks advice because he only knows how to work as an individual.

He was the last of the Majestics to be introduced. Kai was his Bladebreaker rival. Makes a cameo appearance in the third season of Beyblade when he discovers that Barthez Battalion were cheating. He informs Tyson of this, but tells him that it is too late to report them, because if they were disqualified it would unbalance the entire championships too late in the game. His Beyblade launcher is in the shape of an axe.

[edit] Oliver Polanski (Olivier Bollinger)

Age: Season 1- 13

Oliver Polanski
Bayblade character
Japanese name Olivier Bollinger
Profile
Age 13
Bit-beast Unicolyon

Oliver is the first member of the Majestics that the Bladebreakers meet in the Eiffel Tower. Oliver's beyblading style includes very graceful and beautiful movements and attacks, representing an artistic nature. Oliver is also the national champion of France. Oliver is not only an amazing Beyblader, but he is also the son of a French millionaire, and is an amazing French chef. Oliver is a huge art fan, and often paints himself. He sometimes spends his whole days at the Louvre museum, which he has closed just for himself.

He is the most feminine in the team; he has a pink blade and has some pink shown in his armour. He defeats Tyson only to point out his weaknesses so that Tyson can learn from them. He also gives Tyson advice before his Beyblattle against the Demolition Boys. He is supposed to be the nicest and more friendliest member of the Majestics team, and even prepares a buffet for Tyson which he made himself. Oliver is overall good mannered, polite and graceful, and is very well known in Paris. His Beyblade launcher is in the shape of a rapier.

His bitbeast is Unicolyn, and takes on the form of a unicorn. He is not mentioned in the second season and a picture is shown of him and Robert beyblading in the series finale of the Japanese version.
