I'm one of the thousands of volunteer editors at the English-language Wikipedia, where I write articles about various cuisine topics. I just came across your very nice photo of majorero cheese ( www.flickr.com/photos/jfmarrero/1296520255/ ) and I see that we don't yet have a photo at the Wikipedia article about this cheese.

I wonder if you might consider allowing your photo to be uploaded to that Wikipedia article, as the representative image for this variety of Spanish cheese. I think it would serve a great educational purpose.

As per Wikipedia's policies, the photo would need to be released under a "free" license such as the Creative Commons, meaning that the photo could be reused by anyone for any reason (including educational, commercial, or any other use), although it would be specified that credit is given to you and a link made to your Flickr page. Wikipedia is now the eighth most visited website in the world, so you'd probably get a lot of views.

I agree with you. You can upload my photo to that Wikipedia article, if you want. As you said, please, take care with creative commons license rules. The photo has a (c) Watermark, but it's only to prevent unauthorized use of it.

if I can give you an advice, taste it, it's an amazing cheese ;-)
