BIO: Maison Empire came up in Minneapolis, MN., the land that gave birth to the funkified reign of Prince and the modern rock sound of the Replacements. In the late 1990s Maison candy-flipped his way onto the local scene! Teenage Rave fans loved the raw big beat music he created making him one of the best dance club acts in Minneapolis. While still developing his sound, fate brought Maison to the attention of Prince & the NPG's Michael Bland, Tommy Barbarella and House Music DJ Alexander East. Together, like Alchemists in a laboratory they meld their soulful rhythms and pop sensibilities to create the sound that is Maison Empire's music. In early 2002 Maison Empire set out to conquer Los Angeles. Like a troubadour on a journey to wherever life takes him. He suffered the murder of his friend and first musical collaborator, Mike "Iceberg" Robinson. Then ended a five year marriage to business manager Nicole Altamirano. Faced with two young sons to support, he felt his dreams of music stardom slipping away. He had to fight to get back on track. Impressed by his music, Clear Channel radio personalities Jim Severn, Ray Rhodes and Howie T. (K-Big 104FM), befriended the singer. They helped his first single "Sugar in the Raw" hit L.A. radio in the summer of 2004. Maison is currently developing new music under the guidence of veteran songwriter and grammy award winning music producer Desmond Child. Maison Empire has pushed himself and his music as a fervent performer with ruthless ambition. "Most people dream big but are too distracted to ever achieve it."; "They don't focus their desire to receive what they want but I do." he says confidently "When I hit I want fanatic mania, I want an Empire!". With great songs and his magnetic charisma. Maison is a luminary and well on his way to realizing that Empire.
