This user account is a bot operated by Mairi (talk). It is not a sock puppet, but rather an automated or semi-automated account for making repetitive edits that would be extremely tedious to do manually. Administrators: if this bot is malfunctioning or causing harm, please block it.

This is a bot run by Mairi.

It is manually-run (ie not on a fixed schedule) to assist in large renames from WP:SFD. It uses touch.py for category renames, template.py for template renames, and replace.py for redirect replacement (renames and deletions). All are from the pywikipedia framework.
