[edit] Other services

How do you call a service of the opposite function to mailinator - that allows sending mails? --Abdull 17:15, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

Do such services actually exist? Peter S. 10:00, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
Yes, check out this one:

[edit] Cleanup

User:Amoffit added the cleanup banner for this reason: "It reads like it was written by the owner of Mailinator. Didn't really seem like an encyclopedia entry to me". So, there we go, anybody interested in a rewrite? Peter S. 11:06, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] lol

most ppl use this for porn

[edit] It's down isn't it?

There has been no update there since 2005 - and as far as I see the service does not receive any mail anymore. Any word on that, that we could put in the article? --Thomas 09:22, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

It is working as of right now, I just received a mail in there. Diegovh 16:32, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Working fine

Edited the page to reflect the new text view option. Removed items regarding it "stripping headers" as all headers are clearly viewable in the text-view option. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fritz142 (talkcontribs) 02:23, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

Not all headers are available, so clearly it is stripping headers... just not all of them. -- Ch'marr (talk) 23:51, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Rewrite

Edited/rewritten to

            1. prune useless, false, or repetitive detail,
            2. hopefully better describe what the service does.

I carefully removed the word "account" which was used several times, contradicting the statement that Mailinator does not create user accounts.
