[edit] Notability

Apologies for previous deletion proposal, I see that was innappropriate; I've used a more appropriate template now. SamBC 21:53, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

Railway stations are generally notable; see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Shepherd Avenue (IND Fulton Street Line). --NE2 22:16, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
I have also added an additional resource, as per WP:NOTE's guidelines: "Substantial coverage in reliable sources constitutes such objective evidence [for notability]". I'm sure I can find one or two other sources if necessary, but I was planning on doing all this at a later date. --Dreamer84 22:24, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
I'm not certain that inclusion in a published list counts, but a) I don't know what's in those books, and b) I'm not sufficiently bothered ;) so I'll take your word for it. SamBC 22:32, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Common_outcomes#Transportation_and_geography Notes that station notability is under discussion at User:Mangoe/Wikipedia is not a timetable. SamBC 22:32, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
