Main North Road is a major north-south route in the city of Adelaide, South Australia[1].

Main North Road is the major arterial route between Adelaide's CBD and the northern suburbs, including Gepps Cross (where National Highway 1 or Port Wakefield Road branches off), Salisbury, Elizabeth and Gawler. The Sturt Highway branches east from Gawler, while Main North Road continues northwards. The Barrier Highway branches northeast towards Burra, and Main North Road continues through the Clare Valley. Beyond Clare, Main North Road passes through the Southern Flinders Ranges to Wilmington at the eastern side of Horrocks Pass, and then back west again to Stirling North and the Princes Highway, just outside Port Augusta.
