Sakae Maiko (栄舞子) or just Maiko (舞衣子, まいこ) is currently the lead singer and one of two bassists in the up and coming J-pop/J-rock band MARIA, and was formerly the bassist in ZONE, a highly popular all girls J-pop/J-rock band which disbanded in 2005.

Maiko sang solo on two songs for ZONE: Sae Zuri (Bird Chirping) and Like. She also wrote the lyrics for Chiisa na Uta (Little Poem), MARIA'S first single, and also wrote the lyrics for the c/w Sora (Sky).
