Maidens IV is an American band composed of four sisters who play Irish Folk, Medieval, and original music. The group usually can be found performing at renaissance faires, Scottish and Irish festivals, cafes, weddings and other various venues throughout Ohio, including the Ohio State Fair, with additional appearances scheduled in Pennsylvania and Michigan during 2008, and a Missouri event added for 2009.
Originally founded in 2003 as Maidens II, in which the elder two sisters, Havilah and Heather, performed as a voice and violin duet, the group became Maidens III in 2005 when Abigail joined with her viola, and finally Maidens IV when Tabitha joined with her guitar.
The band has released three CD's, "Charm and Fire" (as Maidens III), followed by both "Four Aflame" and "Emerald Fire" (as Maidens IV).
