Maida Coleman (born July 1, 1954) is a Democratic member of the Missouri Senate, representing the 5th District since she won a special election in February 2002. She is currently the minority floor leader. Previously she was a member of the Missouri House of Representatives from 2001 through 2002.
She serves on the following committees:
- Administration
- Agriculture, Conservation, Parks and Natural Resourcees
- Financial and Governmental Organizations and Elections
- Gubernatorial Appointments
- Ways and Means
Coleman is a graduate of Lincoln University (Missouri) with a degree in journalism. She has three children: John, Alaina and James. She currently resides in St. Louis, Missouri.
