Mai Nakamura (born July 16, 1979 in Niigata) is a former backstroke swimmer from Japan, who won the silver medal in the 100m Backstroke at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. At the same tournament she was a member of the Women's Relay Team, that captured the bronze in the 4x100 Medley.
