Mai Lin (born June 22, 1953) is a former Asian American pornographic actress who performed in various adult films from the 1970s to around the mid 1990s. During the mid-1980s, she was reputed by Hustler's Erotic Video Guide to be "a fixture in any video with an Asian-sounding title".[1]
In 2005, Mai Lin was inducted into the Adult Video News Hall of Fame for being "one of the nastiest starlets of her time. Group scenes, anal, double penetrations — there seemed to be no limit to what this filthy little thing would do — helping set the stage for the raunchy young starlets of today."[2] However, in an interview she gave to Couples Magazine in 1985, she did admit there was one thing she wouldn't do--copulate on sand. She was also inducted into the Legends of Erotica Hall of Fame in 2005[3] and into the X-Rated Critics Organization Hall of Fame in 2007.[4] Although no longer starring in adult videos, she is reputed to maintain amicable business relationships with several industry representatives and other insiders.
