Main Street, looking North, Fairfield, ME; from a 1910 postcard. At left is The Gerald Hotel, designed by noted Maine architect William Robinson Miller (1866-1929), and erected in 1899-1900 for Amos F. Gerald, builder of the first electric trolley system in Maine.
