Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate your contributions to the Islam was Hijacked rather than religion of Hijacker article, but we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. Perhaps you would like to rewrite the article in your own words. For more information, take a look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Happy editing! -- Where 17:37, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your article
Oh, yay! I'm genuinely excited that we have such a knowledgable editor on board. Welcome!
I looked at your article again, but I'm not sure if it can be posted as it is, as by my interpretation, it does not seem to comply with the following policy: Wikipedia:No original research.
And by the way, you deserve this:

[edit] Adding User Page to Articles
Please stop adding your user page to articles. This is not part of wikipedia's template and should not be done. User pages are unrelated to articles. I have had to remove many so far so do not continue doing this. ZaydHammoudeh 22:25, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
- Mahdi I have asked yoiu more than once not to add your signature to the userpage. Plus, your user page seems to be inviolation of wikipedia's policy on Wikipedia:User_pages. You should consider changing it. Moreover, the evidence you used is clearly deceptive when you read the whole hadith which for one reason or another, you did not include. Those hadith refer to the salaah. However, to remove applicable evidence cited evidence is considered vandalism by Wikipedia. Those hadith are cited and are applicable. I can provide you with the entire narration concerning those hadith you mentioned to show they are not applicable to Sallallahu alayhi wa salaam. They are applicable to as-Salaat al-Ibrahimiyyah so I left them there. However, I will include the entire narration. ZaydHammoudeh 16:06, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Darood-e-pak
I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Darood-e-pak, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Darood-e-pak. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] Re: Thanks for encourgement
In my view, though, "The Movie" seems like a new idea that is not notable (although, of course, I may be mistaken). It also seems to not follow the Wikipedia:Neutral point of view policy (yikes, we have a lot of policies!). If you disagree with me though, please be bold and post the article, and Wikipedia editors can discuss it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion if there are objections. -- Where 00:46, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] welcome
|
]
Salam. I'm happy to meet you and apologize you because other wikipedians should have put this "welcome" in your talk page and then would want you to obey the rules.
- I remind you that wikipedia isn't a weblog and it has some rules we should obey, although I disagree with them. When you want to add something to an article it should be NPOV. Also you should refer to verfiable sources. God bless you.--Sa.vakilian 10:20, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Darood-e-pak redirect
Greetings, I noticed that you changed the Darood page so that it redirects to Darood-e-pak instead of Darod. In the future, when you make a change like this, please make sure to make the old link available in some way. Otherwise, someone looking for "Darod" under its alternate spelling may be unable to find it. In the future, one method you could use is to change the redirect page into a disambiguation page, which is what I've already done in this case. Another method is to put a note at the top of the new target article (using {{redirect}} for example). Thank you! -- Gyrofrog (talk) 18:11, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
- Greetings, and so many thanks for your suggestion and advice and i will adher to it and really finds this option very much reasonable, it's only been 10 days or so since i joined here so still a long way behind to master wiki :) Thanks again!! kind regards/--www.mahdi.ms 18:27, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
- Please, could you not remove so much text from Darood-e-pak in the future? It is considered a form of vandalism to remove all that text at once without any sort of reasoning. Ryūlóng 22:31, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
Further to this comment, have you read WP:OWN, once you have posted something it belows to the community not yourself. Therefore when discussing the article, it should generally be done on the talkpage for the article NOT by you directing editors to your talkpage. --Charlesknight 22:53, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 3RR warning
Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) [edit] Uploaded pictures
Salam.
I saw you've uploaded some picture without source like [1]. If you take a picture by tourself, you shoild write there and if you copy it from another site, you should clarify its source and link to it. Please do this as soon as possible.--Sa.vakilian 03:27, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Karbala7.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Karbala7.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
[edit] Ishmael
Hi there User:Mahdi7, and welcome to Wikipedia!
I've removed some of the text you added to Ishmael. My rationale is that I believe it's not necessary to list all 12 Shia Imams in this particular article: nformation on Shi'a Imams and the Mahdi that is not directly relevant to Ishmael and is already given in the Imamah (Shi'a doctrine) article should not be repeated in the Ishmael article. (Also this information is Shi'a-specific, while Ishmael is a figure in other Abrahamic religions and other branches of Islam.)
However, we definitely should mention the fact that you added, that the Shi'a consider the reference to "twelve rulers" from Genesis to refer to the Shi'a Imams. Might you be able to provide a reference for this fact? Regards, --Saforrest 16:51, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image tagging for Image:789_1_ohhp1_pblv.png
Thanks for uploading Image:789_1_ohhp1_pblv.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Feedback
Refering to your website mahdi.ms: 1) take out the automatic resize when I visi the page. Very annoying and intrusive. 2) take out the huge animations on the main page. distracting. Looks like there's a popup too. --Matt57 (talk•contribs) 15:08, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image source problem with Image:Karbala1.PNG
Thanks for uploading Image:Karbala1.PNG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:17, 29 April 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Polly (Parrot) 21:17, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
