[edit] Making the article about fiction
To fit the accepted character-article model, I changed the past tense to the present tense. I also included specific references to issues and to Mahr Vehl's creator, Warren Ellis. Bhissong 22:40, 27 June 2006 (UTC)bhissong
- I applaud your efforts. I think the article is getting better, but it needs a lot of work, like most comic book character articles. I am not trying to sound pedantic, but I believe the idea is to keep the plot details to a minimum and focus on the character, how he was written, his effects in the Ultimate Marvel universe, and other such, not to tell everything that ever happened to him. Only include the information that is necessary to understanding the character and some notable events but keep it short and keep it in context of reality. I think this is the project. I tried condensing some, but it's been a while since I read the comic. I'll do what I can to help over time. --Newt ΨΦ 02:23, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
Condensed story info; focused more on character info; more to be done. Bhissong 18:03, 28 June 2006 (UTC)bhissong
- You're doing a good job. I'll help out when I can. I most often look at Wikipedia at work, so I don't have a lot of time to edit, just comment on edits. A good reference is Wikipedia:Manual of Style (writing about fiction). --Newt ΨΦ 20:59, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
To Newt ΨΦ, thanks for the suggestions to change the article. It needed to be streamlined and more in line with other character-articles. Nice work. Bhissong 00:18, 30 June 2006 (UTC)bhissong
[edit] Merge discussion
For reference - a merge with Mar-Vell was proposed in July 2006. Outcome was No Merge. --Mrph 12:52, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Ultimate Captain Marvel.jpg
Image:Ultimate Captain Marvel.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] POV and speculation
Just a friendly reminder that speculating about some aspect of a character's life without proof is just that, speculating. As such it is point-of-view and not factual. Until there is proof, we cannot guess at who a character is dating or whether their armour is or isn't on par with another character's suit.
