[edit] nationality/citizenship

So, at some point Darwish was a Palestinian citizen of Israel. Now he isn't. What happened? Am I correct in thinking that the Israeli state somehow revoked Darwish's citizenship? This is not a troll or an attempt to stir up a political controversy in the article. It's a real question which needs to be cleared up in this article.-jackbrown (talk) 06:52, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
