The picture presented is not one of a mahseer and this page should be merged with the page on mahseer. It should be deleted altogether as it is substandard.

Mahasher is trhe colloquial name for mahseer In Pakistan and North India.

The fish in the pictrure is a mirgal, not a mahseer, thus I am deleting it.
