Talk:Maham Anga
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
With all respect to the contributors, this is ahistorical nonsense, not to mention POV. Maham Anga is hardly the most attractive figure from Mughal history, but this is not a legitimate line of criticism
"Maham Anga was the step mother of Akbar the great. She is the cruel lady who made erroneous statement about Bairam Khan to Akbar. Aadam Khan was born to her and after his death, she was mentally affected. She spent her last days in dark room jail and died in May 1552. This cruel lady's hand had risen for a period of two years, which was virtually called by the English historians as "THE PETTICOAT GOVERNMENT"."
